Idun is the second full lenght album by Ambient Light, sceduled to be released in the first half of 2008 (When the date is known it will be announced here)

Idun was the Goddess of eternal youth in the norse mythology.
She had an appletree that she picked apples from every day and gave to the Gods so they wouldn't get old and die.
Idun herself was quite naive, and pure, she would never do anything but good deeds. She was also the wife to the God of songs and poems Brage.
There are some characteristics in this album that I think matches the goddess of eternal youth.
Above is the album artwork as it looks now, I might chage the layout of the text but the painting is done. The original painting was made by me in January 2006 and forgotten until now. it was a small drawing so I used it as a tracing background and painted the fuzzy strokes over it.
To the right is the origianl painting in 1:1 zoom. I don't know why I made it so small, I should make a new one but it's really rare that I manage to get people to look anything like I want them and this one is one of my best, if not the best, portrait paintings.
